KS2 SATs and data sharing
At Haxby Road Primary Academy, our year 6 pupils take the end of KS2 SATs in May. These national assessments measure progress and attainment in reading, mathematics and grammar, punctuation and spelling. They help us understand each child’s learning journey and ensure they are well prepared for secondary school.

We share SATs outcomes with parents, the local authority and the Department for Education. This information helps us achieve the following:

• Track progress and celebrate achievements
• Provide tailored support for every learner
• Identify areas for improvement in teaching and learning

The tables below show our data for the last 3 academic years including the percentage of pupils achieving the expected standard and those achieving a high level of attainment (Greater depth). They also show a direct comparison between Mainstream and Enhanced Resource Provision education.
